Affiliates Affiliate Strategy Manager

Key Responsibilities 

 

Strategic Market Development (70%) 

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to develop targeted affiliate strategies. 
  • Identify high-potential markets and define scalable affiliate growth plans. 
  • Collaborate with the Affiliate Team Lead & Head of Affiliation to align regional strategies with overall business objectives. 
  • Work closely with data analytics teams to refine acquisition and retention strategies for key affiliate segments. 
  • Develop frameworks for incentivizing affiliates based on market performance, audience behavior, and growth potential. 
  • Work with marketing and content teams to create region-specific materials that resonate with affiliates and their audiences. 
  • Continuously optimise strategies based on performance insights, A/B testing, and industry trends. 
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to align affiliate strategies accordingly. 
  • Propose new product or service ideas based on market research, affiliate performance data, and customer feedback to improve campaign outcomes.

 

Key Account Optimization & Management (30%) 

  • Manage a select portfolio of high-value affiliates, ensuring strong relationships and continued growth. 
  • Negotiate custom deals and commission structures for key partners to maximize revenue. 
  • Work with affiliates to optimize conversion rates, player value, and engagement. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to key accounts on promotional strategies, audience targeting, and campaign effectiveness. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and brand guidelines across all affiliate activities. 
  • Optimise affiliate campaigns by analysing performance data and implementing strategies to improve key performance metrics. 

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience in affiliate marketing within iGaming or online casinos. 
  • Strong background in strategy development, market analysis, and business growth planning. 
  • Proven ability to manage high-value affiliate relationships and negotiate performance-driven deals. 
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using analytics tools to optimize performance. 
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to create a cohesive story around the data as well as creating compelling business cases 
  • In-depth understanding of affiliate marketing models (CPA, Revenue Share, Hybrid) and customer acquisition strategies. 
  • Proficiency with affiliate tracking platforms (e.g.NetRefer, HasOffers, Google Analytics, Appsflyer, humble.ai, SEMrush). 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Experience working across multiple markets and understanding regional nuances in online gambling.
