Project & Delivery Manager (B2B) – Gibraltar

Overview:  

Project & Delivery Manager (B2B) is a critical role facilitating the execution and delivery of the B2B Game Aggregation business strategy and delivering to customer commitments and expectations. This role is as much about relationships as it is about delivery and touches on many areas of the business. As the Project Manager you are responsible for ensuring that roadmaps and projects within your business area are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Working with stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are understood and implemented.  

 This role also involves working closely with clients, suppliers and our technical colleagues as you are the 1st point of contact to ensure a partnership in the delivery of projects. Projects involve the onboarding of new clients; new suppliers and the implementation of UpSale projects by example further Customer site rollouts.

 Responsibilities: 

 Project Management 

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Developing comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Create detailed work schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones.  
  • Project Governance: ensuring that the required level of governance is in place to effectively manage the project, ranging from meeting schedules, tools, collaboration, key project logs, responsibilities and escalations.  
  • Resource Management: Establishing and managing project resources. Identify and address financial or resource related risks and issues.  
  • Team Coordination and Leadership: Leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams, assign tasks, and ensure team members have the necessary resources and support. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.  
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies. Monitor and address risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project outcomes.  
  • Issue Management: Working proactively and collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to find solutions and resolve issues to bring projects back in line with delivery requirements.  
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management. Provide regular project updates, reporting and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.  
  • Quality management: Ensure that the projects meet or exceed the high-quality standards that we set, liaising with the relevant teams and specifically the QA team as required.  

 Delivery Management 

  • Overseeing all B2B Game Aggregation operator onboarding and upsales.
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with B2B operators during the process, from kick-off to completion. 
  • Being the internal liaison between the account and technical teams. 
  • Own daily meetings with the technical lead to align workloads and priorities. 
  • Managing customer and team meetings. 
  • Providing regular internal and external status reports ensuring they are communicated to all key stakeholders 
  • Continually working with the technical leads to improve the process, its reporting and supporting documentation. 

 Skills, Experience & Qualifications:  

  •  A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the Gaming industry, ideally in the B2B area, with gaming aggregation experience a preference (Project Management, Delivery Management).  
  • Project management qualifications and experience, ideally agile and/or Prince, PMBOK.  
  • Excellent understanding of technical delivery from a business perspective, to be an effective liaison between the technical, sales and customer teams. 
  • Knowledge of Asana and Jira would be beneficial [or any other similar project management tool].
  • Leadership and Team Management: the ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.  
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: the ability to create structure even when in an ambiguous environment  
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey project goals, progress, and issues clearly to stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and facilitate teamwork and effectively manage relationships with a 3rd party.  
  • Organizational and Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines efficiently. The ability to create and adhere to detailed project schedules and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.  
  • Change Management: the ability to identify changes, analyse, understand the impact and clearly communicate the consequences. The ability to manage your colleagues, team members and stakeholders through the change process.  
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify, assess, and resolve project-related issues and risks. The ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.  
  • Resource Management and Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing project resources, budgets, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring projects are delivered within constraints. Ability to analyze data and make cost-effective decisions.  
  • Prioritisation: The ability to prioritise and align projects and the work allocated to project resources with a clear understanding of the company strategic objectives. Understanding value and driving value to deliver the objectives.   
  • Work Breakdown Structure: The ability to map out a work breakdown structure, the task dependencies and the  critical path for each project. Making this visible in a ‘gantt like’ format.
