Project Office Manager – Gibraltar

Project Office Manager is an exciting new role. We’re looking for someone you will be overall responsible for the delivery of all projects for Casimba Gaming on time, to budget, to scope This role is key to the successful launch of new games, products and brands aligned to our business strategy. You are responsible for the management of the Project Delivery team, and ensuring we have in place the appropriate processes, reporting and governance to support effective, flexible project delivery. You champion the agreed processes, approaches and support your team in achieving their defined objectives. 

Our preferred location for this role is Gibraltar or Malta


  • Overall responsibility for project delivery activities across the business, acting as an escalation point for your team, supporting them to creatively identify solutions and overcome roadblocks. 
  • Project Management Methodologies: Responsible for ensuring the business has in place the required processes, controls, reporting and templates to support the agile delivery of projects across the full project lifecycle.  
  • Project Prioritisation: Providing  and managing the framework for project prioritisation aligned with the business strategy, by driving the implementation of this framework and chairing the prioritisation forums.  
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Ensuring the business has an overall picture of projects as well as having comprehensive project plans in place for each project. Providing a high level Gannt chart for the project portfolio illustrating major milestones and potential bottlenecks.  
  • Project governance:  
  • Ensuring that the required level of governance is in place to effectively manage the projects, ranging from meeting schedules, tools, collaboration, key project logs, responsibilities and escalations.  
  • Ensuring project/programme reviews are regularly and effectively conducted to drive, plan, monitor and control the delivery to schedule, budget and agreed quality level. 
  • Ensuring your team are adhering to the governance framework. 
  • Resource/budget Management:
  • Ensure adequate resources are provisioned to deliver projects.  
  • Identify the most effective use of your team resources and allocate projects in line with that.  
  • Ensure all projects are delivered within budgets and unexpected expenses are escalated and approved. 
  • Cross functional engagement: Working with leaders across the organisation to ensure each department is supported by the Delivery team in terms of resource planning, scoping, delivery and reporting.   
  • People Management:  
  • Manage and lead the team, providing sufficient oversight to maximise performance to deliver efficient productivity, whilst delegating effectively to empower the team. 
  • Ensure your team are suitably skilled, developed, coached, and motivated and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Foster a collaborative team environnement. 
  • Reporting: 
  • Ensuring project ‘portfolio’ progress is tracked, ensuring that time, cost and quality remain on track and reporting clearly to stakeholders when any of these are at risk or issues have arisen.  
  • Providing clear reporting on the status of your area, and ensure reporting is in place for all projects.    
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct post implementation reviews to celebrate successes and identify opportunities to learn and improve the effectiveness of the project and delivery function.  

 Skills, Experience & Qualifications:  

  •  A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project or program management role preferably within the iGaming Casino industry.  
  • Experience of working in a similar Project Management or Project Office role, and proficient with project office tools and structures including: 
  • Project portfolio scoping, prioritisation, planning and execution 
  • Reporting both externally and internally to all levels in the organisation including at a board level 
  • Experience of putting in place project management frameworks for previous organisations 
  • Project management qualifications and experience, ideally agile and/or Prince, PMBOK.  
  • Experienced people leader with strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead through change. 
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. 
  • Conflict resolution; the ability to identify conflict, listen, de-escalate and negotiate outcomes 
  • Effective negotiation and decision-making skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines whilst maintaining a positive, pragmatic and solution focussed outlook. 
  • Ability to see the wider picture whilst retaining attention to detail and technicalities. 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify, assess, and resolve project-related issues and risks.  
  • The ability to effectively prioritise, understanding value and driving value.   
  • The ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.  
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines efficiently. 
  • Experience in Project life cycles, change management, facilitation and scoping, assumption and decision management, risk and issue management.  
  • Knowledge of Asana and Jira would be beneficial [or any other similar project management tool].
